This article explores the artistic interpretation of medieval Eastern miniature art themes in contemporary Uzbek art. It analyzes the reasons behind modern Uzbek artists' engagement with the miniature heritage and examines the artistic characteristics of this approach. The article demonstrates how miniature traditions are reflected in contemporary artworks, the extent to which artists have preserved these traditions, and the novel artistic solutions they are proposing. The research findings enable an assessment of the artistic significance of miniature themes in modern Uzbek art.
