FUSARIUM OXYSPORUM F. SP. AGAINST VASINFECTUM PAENIBACILLUS SP. ANTAGONISTIC ACTIVITY OF BACTERIA
In this study, the antagonistic activity of the bacterium Paenibacillus sp. against the fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum
(FOV) under in vitro conditions was studied. The interaction between bacteria and fungi was studied in 3 repeated experiments in
Petri dishes using the dual culture method. The results showed a slowdown in the growth of the fungal mycelium around the
bacterial colony and the formation of an inhibitory zone. This indicates the possibility of using Paenibacillus sp. as a potential
biocontaminant.
