THEORETICAL VIEWS ON TERMINOLOGY AND TERMS
This research re-evaluates the established theoretical perspectives in the field of terminology and conducts a comparative analysis
of various conceptual frameworks, ranging from Wüster’s innovations in terminology studies and Cabre’s conceptual approach to
the socio-cognitive model and the theory of terminological dynamics developed by Temmerman and Kageura. The descriptive,
comparative, and structural-semantic methods employed in the study make it possible to interpret terms not as fixed nominative
units but as an evolving system shaped by cognitive processes, social contexts, and scientific development. Based on the findings,
it can be concluded that integrative principles, interdisciplinary approaches, and modern methodological frameworks play a crucial
role in improving national terminology policy.
