This article provides a scientific and pedagogical analysis of the issues related to creating a creative learning environment and enhancing students’ learning motivation in the process of teaching history. It also reveals the role of interactive and creative teaching methods in developing historical thinking, cognitive activity, and independent thinking skills, and substantiates effective approaches to organizing history education in accordance with modern educational requirements
