This article analyzes domestic lexical units in the English and Uzbek languages. The basic words, phraseologisms, proverbs, and idioms within the domain of the core domestic lexicon were selected as research materials. The most important stratum of language that reflects culture is the domestic lexicon. This is because concepts such as daily life, family, household, clothing, food, and hospitality are an integral part of the people's lifestyle. Domestic words not only perform the function of naming but also express the national mentality, traditions, and values of the people.
