CONCEPTUAL CLASSIFICATORY CHARACTERISTICS OF NATIONAL-CULTURAL UNITS RELATED TO TOURISM
National and cultural units associated with the tourism sector, which occupies an important place in contemporary life, should be
considered not only as lexical structures but also as concepts, as this approach makes it possible to reveal their essential content
more accurately and profoundly. This article outlines the methodological foundations for applying the field principle in the
analysis of national and cultural lexical units of the tourism sphere based on their common semantic meaning; it substantiates
researchers’ viewpoints on the key aspects of the issue and analyzes the conceptual, scholarly, and classificatory features of
examples related to the research topic.
