The article examines the grammatical features of adjectives in the Russian and Uzbek languages from comparative and methodological perspectives. The categories of gender, number, case, and degree of comparison are analyzed, as well as the specifics of their functioning in two typologically different languages. Special attention is paid to the difficulties faced by Uzbek-speaking students in mastering the system of Russian adjectives. Based on the analysis of students’ written and oral works, typical interference-related errors are identified. The paper also discusses classical methodological approaches to foreign language teaching (the methods of M.Berlitz, F.Gouin, H.Sweet, and H.Palmer) and substantiates the feasibility of their application in teaching Russian adjectives to Uzbek-speaking learners. Practical methodological recommendations aimed at developing stable grammatical skills are proposed
