This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of the artistic methods of expressing the concepts of good and evil in world and national literature. Good and evil, as fundamental ethical categories of human thought, are manifested in literary texts through systems of characters, conflict, plot, symbols, and linguistic means. The study identifies the aesthetic, philosophical, and social functions of these concepts and evaluates their role in the development of artistic thinking on a scientific-theoretical basis.
