This article analyzes the essence and content of the concept of pre-election campaigning, as well as its role in ensuring democratic election principles. The author scientifically substantiates the methods of establishing communication between candidates and voters, as well as the effectiveness of political advertising and debates. The article also examines the role of modern information technologies and social networks in the campaigning process and puts forward proposals for improving legislation in this field.
