The article analyzes the role and significance of the functional institutions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) – ICESCO and IRCICA – in the contemporary international relations system. The study examines their activities in promoting cooperation in education, science, culture, historical heritage, and intercivilizational dialogue, as well as their role in strengthening the political-diplomatic positions of Islamic world countries through “soft power” resources
