THE PHENOMENON OF MODERNIZATION IN THE SPIRITUAL LIFE OF SOCIETY: ESSENCE AND MAIN DIRECTIONS

This article analyzes the essence of the phenomenon of modernization in the spiritual life of society, its socio-philosophical
foundations, and its role in the development of modern society. It also highlights the main directions of spiritual modernization, its
influence on the spiritual development of society, and the issues of preserving and developing national values in the context of
globalization. In the research process, historical, systemic analysis, comparative, and logical methods were used. The study
substantiates that spiritual modernization serves as one of the important factors of social development, contributing to the spiritual
maturity of individuals, the formation of national identity, and the strengthening of social stability.
