This article analyzes climate change and the greenhouse effect in the context of natural sciences. Based on scientific sources, evidence is presented on the role of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere in absorbing Earth’s radiation, increasing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and global temperature changes. In order to develop scientific literacy among schoolchildren, tasks based on problem situations related to the greenhouse effect and climate change are also provided. The information presented in the article on “Climate Change and the Greenhouse Effect” plays an important role in helping students understand the causes and consequences of global environmental problems and in developing their scientific literacy
