This article analyzes the demographic situation in the Uzbek SSR during the 1980s, the factors influencing population
reproduction, the dynamics of birth rates and child mortality, changes in family and marriage relations, as well as issues related to
labor resources, urbanization, education, healthcare, and social infrastructure.
