This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of the concepts of morph, morpheme, and allomorph in modern Persian linguistics. It
examines the morphological structure of derived units formed through affixation, as well as the allomorphic phenomena observed within
them. In addition, the definitions of these concepts proposed by Iranian linguists are comparatively analyzed, revealing their common and
distinctive features. The study also illustrates the manifestations of allomorphs in Persian within phonetic, grammatical, morphological,
lexical, and stylistic contexts, and analyzes such characteristics as complementary distribution, free variation, and obligatory and optional
usage..
