PUBLICISTIC AND EDITORIAL ACTIVITY OF MUNAVVARKORI ABDURASHIDHANOV

This article analyzes more than 20 articles by Munavvarqori Abdurashidkhanov (1878–1931), one of the leading figures of the Uzbek
Jadid movement, published in newspapers such as "Taraqqiy", "Sadoyi Turkiston", "Najot", and "Turkiston". The study examines the
thematic scope and orientation of these articles, as well as his editorial activity in "Turkiston Viloyati Gazeti". The articles published in
the Jadid press focused on issues such as education and schooling, enlightenment against ignorance, domestic order in the country, family,
and national ethics. "Turkiston Viloyati Gazeti", which had been published by Russian editors since 1870, reflected colonial policies.
However, after M. Abdurashidkhanov was appointed editor in 1917, the newspaper began to give significant attention to issues related to
the life of Turkestan, and its name was changed to "Najot"
