Conceptual Foundations of Natural-Scientific Philosophy in the Legacy of Ali Qushchi
This article analyzes the natural-scientific and philosophical foundations of the scientific legacy of the 15th-century great thinker Ali
Qushchi. It examines how the scholar created an independent research methodology in science by separating astronomy and mathematics
from Aristotelian physics, as well as his rationalistic views.
