This article presents the challenges of teaching biology in higher education institutions and analyzes the work of scholars studying this
topic. It also proposes a structure for conducting practical biology classes in higher education institutions based on the integration of
modern digital educational tools, gamification, and STEAM technologies, and presents a method for its implementation. Simultaneously,
this article includes pedagogical experiments and testing to determine the effectiveness of the proposed structure, i.e., the structure for
conducting practical training. Its effectiveness was demonstrated using the Student-Fisher t-test.
