PAUSTOVSKY AND CHEKHOV: SIMILARITIES IN LYRICAL PROSE
The article examines the features of lyrical prose in the works of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov and Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky. The study focuses on a comparative analysis of their artistic thinking, where inner experience prevails over external events. Despite stylistic differences, both authors share an anthropocentric orientation, emphasizing psychological states and emotional perception. The paper highlights key characteristics of lyrical prose such as subjectivity, implicitness, emotional intensity, and the weakening of the plot. Special attention is given to the role of linguopoetic, cognitive-semantic, and anthropocentric approaches in interpreting literary texts.
