FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DERIVATIONAL AFFIXES IN THE MODERN UZBEK LANGUAGE
This article analyzes the functional characteristics of derivational affixes in the modern Uzbek language from a linguistic
perspective. The study highlights the semantic, structural, and stylistic potentials of derivational affixes, their role in the language
system, and their significance in the speech process. It also examines, on a scientific basis, the role of word-forming affixes in
creating new lexical units, enriching the vocabulary, and ensuring the effective organization of the communicative process.
