This article analyzes the symbolic interpretation of the concept of “beauty” through ornithonyms based on the material of Karakalpak folk epics. The study examines the linguosemantic and linguocultural features of bird names and identifies their aesthetic and symbolic load in literary texts. Using a linguistic approach, the author reveals the role of ornithonyms in representing the concept of beauty, their national and cultural connotations, and their functional potential in the creation of artistic imagery. The results of the study demonstrate that ornithonyms serve as an important semiotic means in the formation of the concept of beauty in Karakalpak folklore.
