THE REPRESENTATION OF THE HISTORY OF THE FERGANA VALLEY IN RUSSIAN HISTORIOGRAPHY

This article analyzes the political, social, and economic processes that took place in the Fergana Valley during the 16th–17th centuries based on materials from Russian historiography. Through the application of a comparative source analysis method, the study examines the region’s system of governance, social structure, and the dynamics of its historical development within a comprehensive academic framework. In addition, the political stability of the region, its internal relations, and the influence of external factors are evaluated on a scientific basis and thoroughly interpreted within the broader context of historical processes.
