THE ROLE AND SOCIAL ACTIVITY OF THE RURAL INTELLEKTUALS OF THE SOUTHERN REGIONS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDEPENDENT UZBEKISTAN

This article provides a scientific analysis of the contribution made by the rural intelligentsia of the southern regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya – to the country's socio-economic, scientific, educational, cultural, and healthcare reforms between 1991 and 2024. The activities of the hardworking rural intelligentsia in the region, their contribution to the upbringing of a harmoniously developed generation, and the development of society are highlighted based on archival sources and statistical data. The results of the analysis allow for a comprehensive scientific assessment of the phenomenon of the rural intelligentsia in the southern regions of Uzbekistan and also create an important experimental foundation for regional studies and the history of reforms
