This study analyzes construction dynamics in Zangiota district during 2020–2024 using remote sensing data. Landsat 8 and
Landsat 9 satellite imagery together with the Normalized Difference Built-up Index (NDBI) were applied to detect newly
developed areas and assess their spatial distribution. The results revealed continuous urban expansion and increasing construction
activity in areas adjacent to Tashkent city.
