STUDY OF THE SOFTENING TEMPERATURE OF POLYMER MATERIALS BASED ON RECYCLED POLYETHYLENE
This article presents methods for obtaining new types of polymer materials by adding chemical binders to polyethylene waste. In
the production of new types of polymer materials, melamine and sulfur were used to modify recycled polyethylene. Based on the
research results, the softening temperature of the obtained polymer materials was studied by the Vicat method in accordance with
state standard requirements. The softening temperature of the new type of polymer material was comparatively analyzed with that
of recycled polyethylene.
