TOSHKENT METROPOLITENI FAOLIYATI TARIXSHUNOSLIGIGA DOIR TAHLILLAR

This article analyzes the historiography of the Tashkent Metro and examines the level of scholarly research devoted to its activities. The study reviews academic publications, periodical press materials, official documents, and contemporary research related to the design, construction, commissioning, and subsequent development of the metro system. Particular attention is paid to the content and methodological approaches of studies conducted during the Soviet and post-independence periods, as well as their significance as historical sources. The research identifies the main achievements and shortcomings of the existing historiographical framework and outlines promising directions for future studies on the history and development of the Tashkent Metro.
