In this article, the problem of consciousness and unconsciousness in the historical civilization of philosophy, the
ontognosesological analysis of individual unconsciousness, its dialectical contrast with consciousness in subjective reality was
studied in the interpretation of literature on the subject. During the research, conclusions based on arguments were given based
on certain opinions and considerations, using the methods of comparative analysis and generalization. As a scientific novelty of
the article, the ratio of consciousness and unconsciousness in the structure of thinking and unconsciousness as an expression of
human spiritual potential were revealed. The direct connection of the individual unconscious with the cosmic ideal has been
scientifically substantiated.
