The relevance of this article lies in the fact that currently growing military threats require an increase in the country’s defense
capability and scientific and technological progress in all areas. The emergence of new types of high-precision military weapons
and ammunition in the armies of developed countries, increased maneuverability and speed of combat operations, and increased
survivability of troops require further improvement of military topography tasks. Military topography is a detailed study of a
place, the assessment and effective use of military equipment, military decision-making, as well as the scientific theory of
studying the influence of the tactical features of a place on the conduct of military operations
