Morphological heterogeneity of fruits and seeds in the studied species of Atriplex aucheri Moq. and Atriplex micrantha C.A.
May. (Chenopodiaceae) is due to the presence of polymorphic flowers with different types and methods of pollination on the
same individual. In both species, all indicators of seed productivity are higher in female flowers with a bract (bcp), both on the
inflorescence and within the generative shoot. In both laboratory and field conditions, seed germination in both species was high
in large seeds and low in seeds with a fine black hard spermodermal layer.
