The authors of the article carried out a comprehensive analysis and interpretation of geophysical (seismic and electrical
exploration) data obtained within the northwestern part of the Bukhara-Khiva region, based on the study of the oil and gas
prospects of Lower Cretaceous deposits T2 (K1 n), carbonate deposits T6 (J3o+km) and terrigenous T7 (J1+2) Jurassic to
prepare the Gurlan structure for exploratory drilling.
An example of a complex analysis of geophysical data is given, where the distinguished Gurlan structure according to seismic
data is also clearly distinguished by electrical data with a fairly high confirmation. Based on the analysis, the location of the
recommended search well №. 1 was determined.
