ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES OF ENDOPHYTIC FUNGI HALOPHYTES OF THE BUKHARA REGION

Endophytes, halophytes, phytopathogens, antimicrobial activity.

Authors

The article studied the antimicrobial properties of 35 endophytic fungi isolated from halophyte plants growing on saline soils of
the Bukhara region. It was shown that endophytes exhibited moderate and high antifungal activity against phytopathogens of
agricultural crops. Seven endophytes belonging to the genera Cladasporium, Alternaria and Fusarium are characterized by the
highest antifungal activity, which was found when testing the culture fluid and biomass extracts.
