INFLUENCE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY ON THE PARAME
The study of blood test indicators in athletes of a high category contributes to the assessment of sports form and adaptation of the
body to serious physical exertion. The aim of the study was to compare the leukocyte and platelets blood profile in high-class
rowers of different somatotypes. When comparing the number of leukocytes, lymphocytes, granulocytes, the percentage of
lymphocytes, the percentage of granulocytes, platelets, the average platelet volume, platelet anisocytosis and thrombocrit before
and after exercise in athlete, it turned out that most of the indicators were unambiguous in individuals with a normal somatotype.
However, in rowers with a strong somatotype, an increase in the content of leukocytes and granulocytes after exercise was
changed compared with athletes with a normal somatotype. Therefore, the reactivity of leukocytes and platelets to submaximal
physical activity in rowers with a strong somatotype is higher compared to rowers with a normal somatotype, which should be
taken into account when selecting groups for a high category of sport.
