SIMULATION OF THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING DIMETHYL ETHER
The article considers the process of modeling the production of methanol and dimethyl ether. The amount of substances at the
outlet of the reactor was analyzed by the chromatographic method. The determination of DME, methanol, water is carried out on
a Porapak T column. The mathematical description of the industrial apparatus does not take into account the inhibition of
diffusion in the pores of the catalyst, and large catalyst granules are considered as objects with a certain effective activity. In a
laboratory experiment, fine enough granular fractions were used to determine the actual activity.
