ISSUES OF ACTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF WATER-SAVING AGROTECHNOLOGIES AND IRRIGATION METHODS IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF UZBEKISTAN
This article focuses on the necessity of large-scale implementation of water-saving agro-technologies and modern water-saving
irrigation methods for the agriculture of Uzbekistan. In particular, mulching agricultural techniques that retain soil moisture for a
long time, as well as the importance and usefulness of modern water-saving irrigation methods, such as drip irrigation,
sprinkling, watering from under the soil, are highlighted. In addition, information is provided about the extensive work on the
implementation of water-saving irrigation methods in Uzbekistan.
