The relationship between language and culture is the focus of this article. Some assert that language is a "part" of culture, while
others maintain that language is only a means of cultural communication. Still others contend that language is a characteristic
rather than a component of culture. The goal of the first is to provide the individual with all the material wealth of the world's
human cultures, while the goal of the second is to select what stands out to him as personally meaningful. This is because cultural
aspects seem to a person as both universal and subjective values.
