This article examines the identification and geodetic investigation of rainwater accumulation areas in the city of Samarkand. The
study describes the process of preparing a GNSS receiver for Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) surveying using the SurPad 4.0 software,
including device configuration, input of base station and rover parameters, and methods for obtaining high-precision coordinates.
Based on RTK technology, geospatial data were collected to identify low-lying areas prone to rainwater accumulation, determine
their precise coordinates, and develop a digital terrain model. The obtained results can be applied to urban drainage planning, flood
risk assessment, and the improvement of geodetic surveying accuracy.
