This article investigates the technology for synthesizing effective clay-activated carbon sorbents designated for the regeneration
and purification of compressor oils. During the research, various conditions of acid modification of clay-based sorbents, pH control
during the washing process, and the incorporation of 1% activated carbon into the composite were evaluated. Experimental results
revealed that the sorbent activated at 200 °C for 1.5 hours, prepared at an acid:water:clay ratio of 1:10:2, washed to a pH value of
2.4, and modified with 1% activated carbon, exhibited the highest adsorption activity. The obtained results expand the potential for
the efficient utilization of local raw materials in compressor oil recycling and significantly enhance the adsorption capacity of the
sorbent.
