This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching the topic “Electric Current in Electrolytes” and presents a methodology for
integrating it with the specialized course “Electrochemical Production Technology.” The electrical conductivity characteristics of liquid media,
including the physical properties of dielectric, semiconductor, and conductive liquids, are analyzed. Using an integrated approach, the study explains
the mechanism of electric current conduction in electrolytes, the physicochemical principles of the electrolysis process, and its applications in
industry and engineering. The paper demonstrates that this integrative approach enhances students’ professional understanding of physical
processes, strengthens the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application, and contributes to the development of their
professional competencies.
