Authors

The work studied the kinetics and mechanism of the oxychlorination reaction under the influence of hydrogen chloride in the
presence of atmospheric oxygen of ethylene, an early representative of unsaturated hydrocarbons. Patterns of formation of deep
oxidation products of ethylene oxychlorination under the influence of hydrogen chloride in the presence of atmospheric oxygen
on catalysts of various compositions. The temperature range in the reactor designed for flow-through layer-by-layer
oxychlorination of liquid is 210-240°C, the linear gas velocity is 5.5-7 cm/sec , the conditional interaction time is 8.5-9.5
seconds. detained under these circumstances. In the target reaction for producing 1,2-dichloroethane, i.e. symmetrical
dichloroethane, it was found that KCl*ZnCl 2 *MnCl 2 *CuCl 2 acts more selectively on both KCl*MnCl 2 *CuCl 2 and reaction rate
enhancers KCl*ZnCl 2 *CuCl 2 due to the low formation of carbon mono- and dioxides in addition to the high activity.
