Irrigation was carried out in pre-planned periods, taking into account the phases of cotton development, which made it possible to transfer water to irrigation networks and plan soil work activities related to irrigation. The wet regime of 75-75-65% of the soil applied before irrigation (option 4) made it necessary to start irrigation during the growing season in early periods and carry out small measures in short periods of time in both experimental fields. As a result, it was necessary to carry out 1-2 more irrigations in this plot compared to the 3rd version of the experiment. Cotton sprouts in the first experimental field were watered 4-5 times in 1-4-0 system, 16-28 days apart. In this case, the annual irrigation standards were 411.7-608.4, and the seasonal irrigation standards were 2105.9-2208.1 m3/ha.
