Authors

The main characteristics of the sorption of Cu(II) ions on the polymer carrier PPF-1 immobilized with the organic reagent 4-[(2-
arsophenyl)azo]-3-hydroxy-2,7-naphthalene disulfonic acid (thoron I) are presented and calculated. The optimal conditions for
immobilization of the Thoron I reagent and complexation with Cu(II) ions were determined. A sorption-atomic absorption
method for determining Cu(II) ions in environmental objects has been developed.
