In the article, the initial training stage in rowing is considered to be the most difficult and complex, but necessary, to train future high international athletes capable of adequately defending the country's honor in the most prestigious competitions. A system and a set of rowing exercises developed for the formation of balance allows limiting inappropriate trajectories of the body's movements based on the physiological criteria of an artificial environment and actively mastering rowing techniques suitable for the water environment.
