This article delves into the linguistic and cultural characteristics of proverbs depicting the image of "woman" in the Uzbek and English languages. By examining a selection of proverbs from both languages, we aim to uncover the similarities and differences in the portrayal of women and the underlying cultural values that shape these representations.
