According to the results of our research it was found that in Karakalpakstan 37 species of helminths are found in small ruminants, of which 34 species parasitize sheep and 31 species parasitize goats. It is known that helminths are divided into biological groups depending on the process of their development, which helps to understand the relationship of biocenotic links between helminths and their main hosts. This article analyzes the ways of helminth infectious elements transition to their main hosts in the conditions of Karakalpakstan in the process of studying the biocenotic relationships of small horned cattle and helminths parasitizing them. The classifications of V.L. Kontrimavichus, 1969 and M.M. Tokobaev, 1973 were used to prove the pathways of helminth transmission to their main hosts.
