The article studies the mapping of the annual precipitation amount of Zomin National Nature Park using GIS (Geographic information system). A precipitation map made using ArcMap and meteorological station data, especially in combination with the IDW interpolation method, is an indispensable resource for ecosystem management of protected natural areas and forest fire prevention. It provides forest managers and fire authorities with valuable information to make informed decisions about resource allocation, sustainable forestry practices and forest fire risk reduction. The obtained results are the main guide for managing the ecosystem of protected natural areas and preventing forest fires.
