This article discusses the philosophical aspects of the essence and principles of gender tolerance. Issues of gender equality and ensuring
the rights of men and women have gone through a complex and long path of historical transformation, reflecting key stages in the
development of Western and Eastern civilizations. The historical and cultural prerequisites for the formation of gender stereotypes and
their influence on public consciousness are analyzed. These changes have been integrated into scientific-cognitive and socialphilosophical
thinking, forming a theoretical basis for the modern understanding of social justice.
