Machiavelli, T. Hobbes, I. Kant, and G. Hegel. Furthermore, it explores the influence of their ideas on civil society on the later teachings of philosophers, including K. Marx, M. Weber, P. Sorokin, T. Parsons, A. Tocqueville, and others.
