STUDY ON ANTIBACTERIAL PROPERTIES OF PLANT EXTRACTS IN ORAL CARE
Most plant extracts are used in traditional medicine as antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic. In this study, the antibacterial properties of some local plants were studied. The results showed that the plants of Syzygium aramaticum and Ginger showed antibacterial activity. The average inhibition zone was 13-18 mm. This allows the use of plant extracts as antibacterial drugs.
