The study investigated the growth and yield characteristics of different varieties of G. hirsutum L. and G. barbadense L. species and their hybrid combinations. G. hirsutum L. varieties showed lower plant height during the flowering stage, while G. barbadense varieties exhibited higher growth results. G. barbadense varieties demonstrated higher yield potential with a greater number of sympodial branches. In hybrid combinations (e.g., A-4384 x A-6140), moderate to high yield and balanced growth were observed. The combination of G. hirsutum L. and G. barbadense L. varieties improved plant development.
