Today, the identification of complexes formed by heavy metals with organic compounds is widely used. For this purpose, the chosen substance must meet the reagent requirements. In this article, the thermodynamic analysis of 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4thiadiazole, a complex organic compound, was conducted, and the results obtained were compared with the literature [1,2]. Thermochemical research on 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole aims to identify possible correlations for evaluating the energy properties, structural characteristics, and stability of the compounds
