RESULTS OF RAILWAY TRANSPORT REFORMS IN NEW UZBEKISTAN
The article analyzes the socio-economic outcomes of railway transport reforms implemented in the Surkhandarya region within the framework of New Uzbekistan. The modernization of railway infrastructure, the increase in freight and passenger
transportation volumes, and the establishment of new logistics centers have had a positive impact on the regional economy.
Furthermore, the expansion of the railway network has strengthened the region’s connections with other parts of the country and enhanced its investment attractiveness.
